Nadia Rashed Al Mazrouei

Dr. Nadia Rashed Al Mazrouei is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacotherapeutics at the University of Sharjah, with more than 35 years of experience across clinical pharmacy, pharmacy education, pharmaceutical policy, military medical services, healthcare logistics, and strategic leadership. She holds a PhD in Clinical Pharmacy and a Master of Clinical Pharmacy from Queen’s University of Belfast, together with a BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences with honors from Cairo University. Her distinguished career includes serving as Chief Pharmacist at Zayed Military Hospital, Director of Medical Logistics, and Deputy Commander of the Directorate of Military Medical Services in the UAE. In academia, she has contributed extensively to clinical pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice education, experiential training, curriculum development, medication safety, pharmacovigilance, pharmacoeconomics, and healthcare governance. Internationally, she has served as a member of the WHO Expert Advisory Panel on International Pharmacopoeia and Pharmaceutical Preparations and held leadership roles within FIP, including the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Forum, as well as President of the ISPOR UAE Chapter. Her research portfolio spans medication safety, prescribing and dispensing errors, antibiotic use and resistance, telepharmacy, chronic disease management, digital health, pharmacoeconomics, and pharmacy education. She has authored or co-authored more than 60 scientific publications and has received multiple awards recognizing her research, leadership, and contributions to pharmacy.
