Dr. Ibrahim Al-Khars is a healthcare governance and pharmaceutical practice leader, currently serving as General Manager of Governance, Compliance, and Investor Relations at Innovest, Saudi Arabia. He is also Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board at Afaq Healthcare Education, where he contributes to healthcare education and consultancy.
He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and a Master in Applied Business Research from Swiss Business School, Switzerland, as well as an MBA in International Business and a Special Diploma in New Venture Creation from the University of Florida, USA. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science with honors and a Master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacy from King Saud University. His professional development includes a specialty residency in Pharmacy Practice Management at Detroit Receiving Hospital and Wayne State University.
His research and professional interests include healthcare quality improvement, corporate governance, healthcare reform, educational technologies and pharmacy practice management. He has extensive experience delivering executive seminars, presentations and management-development programmes across Saudi Arabia, the USA, Germany, Malaysia, Lebanon, Oman, Egypt and the UAE.
