Zahra Hassan is a pediatric clinical pharmacist at the Royal Hospital in Oman with extensive experience in pediatric and neonatal pharmaceutical care. She holds a Master of Clinical Pharmacy from the University of Queensland and a Master of Pharmacy from the University of Strathclyde. Her Royal Hospital experience includes outpatient, inpatient and pediatric pharmacy, pediatric nephrology, neonatal intensive care, and development of pediatric clinical pharmacy services. Since 2022, she has supported and led pediatric clinical pharmacy services, supported pediatric research, served as a focal point for the medication safety program, and contributed to non-formulary/orphan-drug and accreditation activities. She is also involved in training pharmacy students and staff, medicines information, research projects, and professional education in pediatric and neonatal pharmacy.
