Jimmy Jose

Dr. Jimmy Jose is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice at the University of Nizwa, Oman, with extensive experience spanning academia, clinical practice, research and administration. His teaching portfolio includes pharmacovigilance, pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacotherapeutics, clinical pharmacy, pharmacoeconomics, drug information and research methodology.
His principal research interests are pharmacovigilance and drug safety. He has led research projects as a principal investigator, secured research funding and published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, with more than 2,650 citations and a Scopus h-index of 19 according to his supplied CV.
Dr. Jose is the lead editor of the Springer Nature textbook *Principles and Practice of Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety*, developed with international co-editors and contributors. He has received the Outstanding Researcher Award from the University of Nizwa and has presented his work at national and international conferences.
