Yousaf Ahmad is Director of Medicines Optimisation and Integrated Care System (ICS) Chief Pharmacist at NHS Frimley ICS. He has more than 20 years of experience across pharmacy and the wider pharmaceutical industry, with extensive work in primary and secondary care in the UK and internationally. He has represented pharmacy nationally through committee and chairing roles with UK Clinical Pharmacy Association and Royal Pharmaceutical Society bodies. In 2020, he was appointed by the Privy Council to the governing council of the General Pharmaceutical Council, supporting the regulation of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy premises across the UK. He is a Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, an experienced educator and presenter, and is particularly passionate about workforce transformation, innovation, technology in healthcare, and improving patient care. His clinical specialism is pain management.
