Dr. Nabila Jawad Al-Lawati is a Senior Consultant of Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs with over three decades of distinguished service in Oman’s pharmaceutical regulatory sector. She holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Analysis, specializing in microbiology and analytical chemistry, from the University of Brighton, and was the first Omani woman to achieve this milestone. She led Oman’s Central Quality Control Laboratory for a decade, overseeing the analysis of conventional, herbal, and biological medicines, and chaired national committees for drug stability and bioequivalence. As a GMP inspector, she has conducted inspections across local and GCC pharmaceutical facilities. She is also a WHO consultant contributing to pharmaceutical and medical-device regulatory oversight.
