Huda Al Harthy is a consultant pharmacist with more than 20 years of experience in clinical pharmacy practice. She holds an MSc in Clinical Pharmacy from the University of Strathclyde and has served as Head of Clinical Pharmacy for the past 16 years, in addition to serving as Acting Director of the Pharmacy Directorate at Khoula Hospital, Muscat.
She is a member of the hospital’s Drug and Therapeutics Committee and has actively contributed to the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy services and national healthcare initiatives.
Huda has been a speaker at national and international conferences and workshops. Her professional contributions include the development of guidelines, policies and procedures in areas such as standards of clinical pharmacy practice, outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy (OPAT), osteoporosis and national antimicrobial management.
