Asiya Al Kindi is a health economist and quality management and medication safety expert with more than 24 years of leadership experience at the Ministry of Health in Oman. She currently leads the Quality Management and Medication Safety Department at the Directorate General of Medical Supplies.
Her expertise includes pharmacoeconomics, quality systems, pharmacovigilance, procurement, supply chain efficiency and risk management. She has a proven record of implementing ISO 9001:2015 standards and promoting continuous improvement in the national medicine supply process.
Asiya also teaches part-time at Oman College of Health Sciences and has presented her work at international and local conferences and major health institutions across Oman, contributing to the national dialogue on medication safety, quality management and health technology assessment.
