Dr. Anas is Deputy Chief of the Drug Supply Department at Hamad Medical Corporation and Clinical Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy & Practice at Qatar University. He leads the Health Technology Assessment and Innovation Regulation Project of the National Health Strategy under the Ministry of Public Health and chairs the Standing Committee on Medication Services at Qatar Red Crescent Society.
He is Vice President & Director of the ISPOR Qatar Chapter and Vice President of the Hospital Pharmacy Section of the International Pharmaceutical Federation for the EMRO Region. He holds a BSc in Pharmacy from the University of Jordan, an MSc in Clinical Pharmacy, International Practice & Policy from the University of London and a PhD in Clinical Practice & Medication Use from King’s College London.
Dr. Anas is an active researcher and regular speaker at local and international conferences. He serves on editorial boards and review panels and contributes to committees addressing pharmacy practice, medication use, cancer care, research, safety and quality, healthcare education, health economics, governmental tenders, clinical transformation and health insurance.
